Design, Installation, and Maintenance of PV Solar Systems for Technicians
This is a five weeks training program designed to equip technicians with the knowledge and skills required to design, install, and maintain solar
systems. The program covers the fundamentals of solar energy, system design, installation, and maintenance, as well as safety
procedures and troubleshooting techniques.
This training program is implemented by SENDEA Academy at Nakawa Vocational Training College, with funding support from
Stiftung Solar Energy Foundation - Germany.

Design, Installation, and Maintenance of PV Solar Systems for Technicians
The course is a five-week (25-day) hands-on training program at Nakawa VTC, running from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM EAT. It is a non-residential, in-person course, costing $570 (2,165,000 UGX).
Participants receive PPE (overalls and helmets), toolboxes, and a certificate of competence (above 60%) or participation (below 60%). The course is accredited by the Directorate of Industrial Training (DIT) Uganda.
